Hydroformed Frame

 The Ram frame incorporates a re-engineered hydroformed fully boxed frame with increased torsional rigidity and bending stiffness for enhanced ride and handling capability. Hydroforming is a manufacturing process that uses highly pressurized water, rather than heat, to mould the frame. The result is greater strength and impact absorption, fewer welds, stronger and stiffer structure, less weight and lower noise levels.

The available Trailer-Tow Group includes a 750-amp Maintenance-Free battery, Class IV Hitch receiver and a 7-pin wiring harness that includes heavy-duty engine cooling with automatic transmission on 1500.
